The Xbox One Minecraft Controllers are a set of Minecraft themed Xbox One controllers that were released in two variants on October 3, 2017. The controllers came in two variants, those being a Creeper and a Pig.

Design

Creeper

The Creeper controller has the design of the Minecraft mob of the same name. It has a slightly green blocky design to make it easier to tell that it is Minecraft themed. The face plate is green with a Creeper face, the triggers and bumper are black. The buttons on the , , , are themed with the Minecraft font.

On the inside of the controller's battery pack is an image of gun powder, the item that a Creeper can drop when killed in Minecraft.

Pig

The Pig controller is extremely similar to the Creeper controller in terms of the way it is designed. The Pig controller has a pink face plate with the design of a Minecraft pig on it. The bumpers and triggers are a slightly darker shade of pink. Like the Creeper controller the , , , buttons use the Minecraft font rather than the regular Xbox font.

On the battery cover for the Pig controller is an image of a Minecraft carrot, an item that can be used to breed Pigs in Minecraft or have follow the player around.

Availability

The Creeper controller was originally bundled with the Xbox One S 1TB Minecraft Limited Edition Bundle, which also included a Minecraft themed console. The Creeper controller was eventually bundled on its own, but the Pig controller has only ever been available on its own.
