January 17: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Mega Battle is released on Xbox One.
January 24:
- The Green/Orange Xbox One controller is released at the Microsoft Store and Walmart.^[1]
- Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is released on Xbox One and Windows.

February

February 7: The Winter Forces and Ocean Shadow Xbox One controllers are released at select retailers.^[2]
February 21: Halo Wars 2 is released on Xbox One and Windows.
February 28: Xbox Game Pass, a subscription service for Xbox One consoles that gives users access to a rotating library of over 100 Xbox One and Xbox 360 games for $9.99 US a month is announced and given a launch window of later in Spring. Titles confirmed to be available on the service at launch include Halo 5: Guardians, Payday 2, NBA 2K16 and SoulCalibur II.^[3]
