June 6: More details about the Xbox One controller are revealed, such as its new impulse triggers and other improved features.
June 10: Microsoft hold their annual press conference at E3, where they give more details on the upcoming Xbox One such as release date, price and launch titles.
- A number of games were also revealed including; Below, Crimson Dragon, D4, Forza Motorsport 5, Halo, Halo: Spartan Assault, Killer Instinct, LocoCycle, Minecraft: Xbox One Edition, Project Spark, Quantum Break, Ryse: Son of Rome and Sunset Overdrive.
June 10: The Xbox 360 E, a slimmer quieter Xbox 360 model is revealed, it was released the same day in North America.
June 11 — 13: The Electronic Entertainment Expo is held at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
June 18: The Xbox 360 remains the number one best selling console in the United States.
June 20: The Xbox 360 E is released in Europe.
June 22: New features are added to Xbox Music on Windows 8.

July 1: The Xbox 360 Special Edition Chrome Series Gold controller is announced.
July 17: The Xbox 360 hits 30 consecutive months as the United States best selling video game console.
July 18: Halo: Spartan Assault is released on Windows Phone.
July 23: The Smurfs 2 is released on Xbox 360.

August 9: Local Currency is announced to be coming to Xbox consoles, succeeding Microsoft Points.
August 15: Forza Motorsport 5 Limited Edition is announced.
